Resource exhaustion in Rockwell Automation 432ES-IG3 Series A 1.001 allows remote attackers to halt the interface over EtherNet/IP. Rockwell Automation maps the flaw to unbounded or unthrottled resource allocation but has not disclosed the specific request, protocol object, or processing path that consumes those resources. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient, and successful exploitation leaves the safety communication interface unavailable until a manual power cycle.
