Data exposure and alteration via open Redis
Published Sep 9, 2025 · Updated Sep 9, 2025
Open Redis access in Rockwell Automation FactoryTalk Analytics LogixAI 3.00 and 3.01 allows remote attackers to read and alter stored data. The bundled Redis instance applies over-permissive access controls, exposing its database to unauthenticated network clients. An attacker must reach the service from the same intranet; successful access exposes sensitive information and permits data alteration.
