System crash via null pointer dereference

Null pointer dereference in the AsIO3.sys driver in ASUS Armoury Crate before 6.3.4 allows local users to crash Windows. A specially crafted input causes the kernel driver to dereference a null pointer, although ASUS has not disclosed the affected input handler or field. Low-privileged local access is required, and successful exploitation produces a system crash with a blue-screen error rather than data access or modification.
