Information disclosure via PRC out-of-bounds read
Published Sep 2, 2025 · Updated Sep 2, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Foxit PDF Reader 2025.1.0.27937 and earlier allows remote attackers to disclose process memory via a crafted PRC file. The PRC parser fails to validate user-supplied data before accessing an allocated object, causing a read past that object's boundary. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; direct impact is limited memory disclosure, though chaining can enable code execution.
