Authentication bypass in N-able N-central before 2025.4 allows remote attackers to obtain appliance session IDs through a SOAP request. The legacy sessionHello method accepts static, installation-independent values for built-in peer appliances and returns a valid appliance-scoped session ID. Default installations expose this path without authentication, granting access to sensitive ServerMMS and ServerMMS2 operations but not user-scoped APIs.
