Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted SWFUpload handler
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in Developer Tools 1.1.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through its SWFUpload endpoint. The upload.php handler accepts unauthenticated multipart requests, trusts attacker-controlled UPLOADDIR and filename values, and stores a PHP payload in a web-accessible path. Direct network access to the endpoint is sufficient; retrieving the stored script executes code with the web server's privileges.
