Subscriber-level quiz-result deletion via nonce-only authorization
Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
Missing authorization in Quiz and Survey Master 10.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to delete stored quiz results. The qsm_dashboard_delete_result AJAX handler accepts a caller-selected result_id and performs the deletion after checking only a nonce, without verifying a management capability. Subscriber-level access and a nonce exposed in an authenticated context are sufficient; the demonstrated consequence is loss of quiz-result data.
