Authenticated file disclosure via unsanitized filename
Published Sep 17, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Path traversal in Kodezen LLC StoreEngine 1.5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The file_download() handler appends the untrusted filename directly to the CSV upload directory and passes the resulting path to readfile() without normalization or containment validation. Subscriber-level access and an administrator-enabled CSV Import/Export addon are required; exposed files can include WordPress configuration data and system files.
