Unauthenticated database disclosure via unescaped resource parameter
Published Aug 26, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Time-based SQL injection in Pierre Lannoy Vibes 2.2.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read database data via the resource parameter. The unauthenticated /vibes/v1/beacon REST route passes the resource value into an existing SQL query without sufficient escaping or preparation. Crafted resource values create a timing oracle that permits sensitive database information extraction without an account or user interaction.
