Unauthorized database access via unvalidated violation ID
Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Aug 19, 2025
SQL injection in Surbowl dormitory-management-php allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through the violation endpoint. The /dorm/admin/violation_add.php handler places the id request parameter directly into a SQL query without validation or parameter binding. No login is required, and a demonstrated time-based blind payload can delay the database query and enable unauthorized database access.
