Published Aug 19, 2025 · Updated Sep 13, 2025

AndroidManifest.xml leaves the default task affinity in place, allowing a malicious app to claim the same affinity and place its activity at the root of the victim app's task stack. Exploitation requires a malicious app on the same Android device and user interaction with both apps, enabling credential or sensitive-data theft.
