Nonrecoverable controller fault via crafted CIP message

Denial of service in Rockwell Automation Compact GuardLogix 5370 30.012 and earlier allows remote attackers to halt controller operation. CIP unconnected explicit-message handling leaves a fault from a crafted message uncaught, placing the controller in a major nonrecoverable fault state. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the resulting fault prevents the controller from recovering or functioning normally.
