Privilege escalation in GE Vernova MiCOM S1 Agile 3.1.0 and earlier allows local users to gain Administrator privileges on Windows. Improper folder permissions let a basic-privilege user replace a legitimate executable in an application folder, after which a computer restart executes the substituted code. Exploitation requires basic workstation access and a restart; it compromises the Windows host but does not alter connected IED configuration or operation.
