Stored script execution via unencoded visitor name
Published Aug 15, 2025 · Updated Aug 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in PHPGurukul Zoo Management System 2.1 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in users' browsers. The add-foreigner-ticket.php handler renders the visitorname POST value into HTML without output encoding or sanitization. No login is required to submit the payload, but execution requires an administrator or another user to view the affected response, exposing that browser session to script-driven actions and data access.
