CVE-2025-9016Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via uncontrolled search path

Published Aug 15, 2025 · Updated Aug 15, 2025

Untrusted search path handling in Mechrevo Control Center GX V2 5.56.51.48 allows local users to gain elevated privileges. The PowerShell Script Handler's Command processing uses an uncontrolled resource-search path, but public records do not identify the searched resource or controlled directory. Exploitation requires local low-privileged access and high complexity; successful abuse executes attacker-supplied code with the handler's elevated privileges.
