Missing authorization in Drupal Layout Builder Advanced Permissions before 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to add layout sections. The affected submodule does not sufficiently enforce the section_add permission when processing Layout Builder section-creation requests. Exploitation requires a role with content viewing, creation and editing rights plus permissions to configure layout overrides and access the Layout Builder page.
