Stored XSS via unescaped content metadata
Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Aug 14, 2025
Stored XSS in Vvveb 1.0.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The admin/template/content/edit.tpl template emits attacker-controlled slug and other non-content fields into value, innerText, and href bindings without HTML encoding. Low-privilege editor access and a victim visit to the affected content editor are required; injected script executes with the victim's browser privileges.
