Stored XSS via unrestricted administrative file upload
Published Aug 14, 2025 · Updated Aug 14, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in linlinjava litemall 1.0 through 1.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to store dangerous files. AdminStorageController.create passes the multipart stream, client-supplied content type, and original filename to StorageService.store without validating the file type. Access requires the admin storage-create permission; uploaded HTML can execute script when served to a browser, while server-side execution depends on storage and serving configuration.
