Authenticated command execution via unsanitized environment variables

Command injection in D-Link DIR-818L firmware 1.05B01 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands through ssdpcgi. The ssdpcgi path reads attacker-controlled environment variables with getenv, concatenates them with sprintf into an lxmldbc_system command, and passes the result to system without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Low-privileged access to the network interface is required, after which injected commands can open a reverse shell and grant control of the router.
