Protected-content disclosure via unfiltered REST responses
Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026
Incorrect authorization in WP Theme Space WP Edit Password Protected before 1.3.5 allows remote attackers to read protected page content. The conditional-display path filters content on normal page views but leaves the page body in the content field of WordPress REST API responses. The request requires no authentication or user interaction, but disclosure depends on a site having a page protected through the plugin's conditional display setting.
