Contributor-level stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Sep 26, 2025 · Updated Sep 26, 2025
Stored XSS in Trustindex Widgets for Tiktok Feed 1.7.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a shortcode. The trustindex-feed shortcode accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and emits them without context-appropriate output escaping. Contributor-level access is required; injected scripts persist in a page and execute in the browser of each visitor who opens it.
