Stored XSS via unescaped fancyBox widget content
Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Master Addons for Elementor 2.0.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through fancyBox widgets. Affected widget renderers store contributor-controlled fancyBox content without sufficient input sanitization and emit it without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor access is sufficient, and the script executes when a visitor opens an injected page, enabling actions or data access in that visitor's browser context.
