IPsec traffic interruption via malformed packet
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Improper input validation in Arista EOS on 7020SRG Series switches allows remote attackers to interrupt IPsec traffic via a crafted packet. The IPsec dataplane accepts malformed packet syntax and enters a state that stops processing all IPsec traffic; an attempted pipeline reset does not reliably restore it. IPsec must be configured, and only IPsec traffic originating or terminating on the affected switch is interrupted; other traffic remains unaffected.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
