Resource exhaustion in affected Arista EOS releases allows remote authenticated users to restart OSPFv3 and disrupt its routes. Arista has not disclosed the exact packet-processing locus; crafted input drives the OSPFv3 process to sustained high CPU until ProcMgr restarts it. Exploitation requires OSPFv3 in a default or non-default VRF with at least one neighbor, and the restart interrupts OSPFv3 route availability.
