Published Aug 11, 2025 · Updated Aug 11, 2025

Information disclosure in YugabyteDB Anywhere allows remote attackers to obtain server IP addresses and DNS records without authentication. The /metamaster/universe API endpoint fails to enforce web-server authentication before returning private and public IP addresses and DNS records. Affected releases span 2.20.0.0 through 2.20.8.0, 2024.1.0.0 through 2024.1.2.0, and 2024.2.0.0 through 2024.2.2.4; reachable attackers gain topology details but cannot modify data through this flaw.
