Authenticated code execution via unchecked RIP parameters

Stack-based buffer overflow in Linksys RE-series extenders through 20250801 allows remote authenticated users to crash the device. The setRIP handler copies unchecked RIPmode or RIPpasswd input into a stack-local buffer before nvram_bufset, overwriting its return address. A valid management session is required; the published proof of concept persistently interrupts service, while return-address control permits code execution.
