Open redirect via unvalidated Referer header
Published Aug 10, 2025 · Updated Aug 12, 2025
Open redirect in atjiu pybbs 6.0 allows remote authenticated users to redirect users to attacker-chosen sites via a crafted Referer header. The changeLanguage handler reads the HTTP Referer header and passes it unchanged to Spring MVC's redirect view when the header is nonempty. Low privileges and passive user interaction are required, and the consequence is navigation to an untrusted site.
