Grade modification via unchecked Diario authorization
Published Aug 10, 2025 · Updated Aug 13, 2025
Improper authorization in Portábilis i-Educar 2.0 through 2.9.0 allows remote authenticated users to modify student grades. The /module/Api/Diario endpoint accepts grade-posting requests without checking the caller's session role or assigned permissions. A valid low-privilege session with no profile or permissions is sufficient to alter academic records, and no confidentiality or availability impact is reported.
