CVE-2025-8742Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Admin access via unrestricted password guessing

Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Aug 12, 2025

Improper authentication throttling in macrozheng mall 1.0.3 allows remote attackers to gain admin access by guessing passwords. The Admin Login endpoint accepts repeated password attempts without rate limiting or lockout, while response lengths distinguish successful and failed attempts. Unauthenticated network access to the login endpoint is sufficient, although compromise requires discovery of a valid administrator password.
