CVE-2025-8730Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated administrator access via embedded login credentials

Published Aug 8, 2025 · Updated Aug 8, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in Belkin F9K1009 and F9K1010 2.00.04 and 2.00.09 allow remote attackers to gain administrator access. The login.htm handler accepts the firmware-embedded username and password 00E0A6-111, granting access to administrative functions. Network reachability to the router's HTTP management interface is sufficient; successful use exposes configuration and permits settings changes.
