Code injection in Invoice Ninja before 5.0.175 allows local users to modify the macOS application’s memory through debugger attachment. The distributed app’s signature sets com.apple.security.get-task-allow, permitting a debugger to attach despite Hardened Runtime and to read, alter, or inject code into process memory. Exploitation requires local unprivileged execution; inherited access is limited to TCC permissions already granted, while new protected resources still prompt for approval.
