CVE-2025-8699Public exploit

Arbitrary card balance increases via writable NFC data

Published Sep 12, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Improper sensitive-data storage in KioSoft Stored Value Unattended Payment Solution allows attackers to add funds using cloned NFC cards. MIFARE Classic cards store the cash value and an XOR-based checksum in writable fields, allowing altered dumps to remain acceptable to terminals. Exploitation requires a valid card dump and NFC cloning hardware; a forged card can carry and spend a balance of up to $655.35.
