Denial of service in affected HTTP/2 servers allows remote attackers to exhaust CPU or memory through server-sent stream resets. Implementations remove server-reset streams from the protocol concurrency count while their backend requests continue processing, permitting unbounded work on one connection. Exploitation requires reachable HTTP/2 service and crafted malformed or flow-control frames; the bounded consequence is a service slowdown or interruption.
