Authenticated command execution via MCP command string
Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025
OS command injection in Agno 1.7.0 through 1.7.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands through MCP configuration. MCPTools and MultiMCPTools pass the command value into MCP stdio process startup without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Reachability requires low-privileged access to supply an MCP server command; execution uses the Agno process account and can read, alter, or interrupt host resources.
