Missing authentication in TP-Link KP303 firmware before 1.1.0 allows attackers to power off outlets and leak information over an adjacent network. The device accepts protocol commands without authentication, but TP-Link has not disclosed the affected protocol handler or its command-validation logic. Network adjacency is required; successful commands can interrupt power to connected equipment and leak information of an undisclosed nature without user interaction.
