Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Dec 13, 2025 · Updated Dec 13, 2025
Stored XSS in YITH WooCommerce Quick View 2.7.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via a shortcode. The yith_quick_view handler in class.yith-wcqv-frontend.php renders user-supplied shortcode attributes without sufficient sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store a payload in a page, and the script executes in the browser of anyone who visits that page.
