Stored XSS via unescaped Count Up attributes
Published Nov 18, 2025 · Updated Nov 18, 2025
Stored XSS in CodeYatri Gutenify 1.5.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through Count Up block attributes. The Count Up block stores user-supplied attributes without sufficient sanitization and renders them without sufficient output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the injected script executes in the browser of anyone who views the affected page, enabling page-context data access or actions.
