Authenticated SSRF via unchecked blogcard URL
Published Oct 14, 2025 · Updated Oct 14, 2025
SSRF in poporon's Pz-LinkCard before 2.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to issue requests through the WordPress server. The blogcard shortcode passes its url attribute into a server-side HTTP request without rejecting loopback or private-network destinations. Contributor-level access is sufficient to reach otherwise inaccessible internal endpoints from the WordPress host, bypassing network-origin restrictions.
