Stored XSS via unescaped home-folder names
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 11, 2025
Stored XSS in the Members Dashboard of Concrete CMS 9.0.0 through 9.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript. The home-folder list and user-search column return TreeNodes.treeNodeName without HTML escaping, allowing a crafted folder name to become page markup. Administrator privileges are required to create the malicious folder, and code runs only when another user reaches the affected page after login.
