Published Aug 12, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in prabode GMap Generator 1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the h shortcode parameter. The plugin's gmap shortcode handler places the h value into generated page output without sufficient sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the injected JavaScript executes whenever a visitor opens the affected post or page in a browser.
