Unauthorized backend API access via alternate channel
Published Sep 11, 2025 · Updated Sep 11, 2025
Unprotected alternate channel in Lenovo XClarity Orchestrator before 2.2.0 allows attackers on the local network to access backend API services. Lenovo has not disclosed the affected component or how manipulation of a local device creates the alternate communication channel. The attacker needs access to a device on the local LXCO network segment; existing controls can limit interaction, but internal functionality or data can be reached.
