Administrator-session script execution via unencoded name
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in atjiu pybbs 6.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in an administrator's browser. The /admin/tag/list response inserts the name query parameter into the page without output encoding, causing supplied markup to execute as browser script. Exploitation requires administrator access to the endpoint and interaction by an administrator who opens the crafted URL; the script runs in that user's page context.
