Administrator-session script execution via unencoded username
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2025
Reflected XSS in atjiu pybbs 6.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an administrator's browser via username. /admin/comment/list reflects the username query parameter into the page without output encoding, allowing injected HTML event handlers to run. An authenticated administrator must open the crafted URL; execution is confined to that administrator's browser context.
