Stored script execution via unchecked file upload
Published Aug 4, 2025 · Updated Aug 5, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Exrick XBoot 3.3.0 through 3.3.4 allows remote authenticated users to store dangerous files. UploadController's /xboot/upload/file handler sends multipart or base64 content to Qiniu after CommonUtil.renamePic preserves the supplied extension, without checking file type or content. A valid access token reaches the endpoint, and a stored HTML payload executes script when retrieved in another user's browser.
