Stored script execution via unencoded comment content
Published Aug 3, 2025 · Updated Aug 4, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Code Projects Human Resource Integrated System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject browser scripts. The insert-and-view/action.php comment handler stores the content POST value in the database and later renders it without effective HTML encoding. A valid low-privilege login and a later page visit are required, enabling attacker-controlled code to run in another user's browser context.
