Unauthorized menu upload via missing nonce validation
Published Aug 13, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Nikel Easy restaurant menu manager 2.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to upload menu files. The nsc_eprm_save_menu() function accepts a forged state-changing request without correctly validating a WordPress nonce, causing the administrator's session to store an attacker-selected file as a menu. Exploitation requires a site administrator with an authenticated session to follow an attacker-controlled link; the documented consequence is unauthorized menu-file upload or replacement.
