Root command execution via writable cron script
Published Oct 27, 2025 · Updated Oct 27, 2025
Incorrect permissions in Centreon Infra Monitoring MBI allow remote authenticated users with CentreonBI access to execute commands as root. A root-owned cron job executes an MBI script that the CentreonBI account can modify, causing injected commands to inherit root privileges. High-privilege account access and script modification are required; affected branches start at 23.10.0, 24.04.0, and 24.10.0 and end before 23.10.15, 24.04.9, and 24.10.6, respectively.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
