Contributor-level stored XSS via non-Boolean autoplay setting
Published Oct 23, 2025 · Updated Oct 23, 2025
Stored XSS in Beaver Builder Page Builder 2.9.2.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through auto_play. The Testimonials Module accepts the auto_play setting without enforcing a Boolean value, then renders it without sufficient sanitization and output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store the payload in a page, and the script runs in each visitor's browser when the page is opened.
