Driver memory corruption via oversized registry value

Classic buffer overflow in SUSE Virtual Machine Driver Pack allows local users to corrupt driver memory through crafted registry data. RtlQueryRegistryValues copies an attacker-controlled registry value into a fixed-size driver buffer without first limiting the input to the destination size. Exploitation requires low-privilege local access, permission to modify the relevant Windows registry value, and additional conditions; SUSE reports no currently feasible exploitation path, and the bounded impact is driver integrity and availability.
