Unauthorized JIT group access via stale approval state
Published Jul 30, 2025 · Updated Jul 30, 2025
Authorization bypass in Devolutions Server 2025.2.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to access deleted JIT Groups. The JIT access-request approval interface retains stale group state during standard checkout processing and honors an approval after the group is deleted. A low-privileged user must already be authenticated and complete the deletion-versus-approval timing sequence; the resulting access is limited to the deleted group.
